Bi-weekly “How to” #24. Truck used – 04 GMC 2500 HD – Engine code 2 6.6L Duramax with 2 thermostats Some patience required for this job. Tools used – 3/8 ratchet, 2 short extensions, 12mm socket, 12mm ratcheting wrench ( or 12mm wrench – more patience required) small flat screwdriver, 1/4″ drive with 5/16 socket (or flat screwdriver), small prybar, drain pan, funnel, #30 torx socket, pliers, and a long magnet.
